I worked on this but it's not quit finished. I just enjoy working on some bigger pastels. Although I think they are a little harder to frame and I never hear about all the shows everyone else hears about anyway. I don't know how they do it.
Using pastels and or colored pencils to achieve images that are appealing to me. Fell free to leave a comment .

although I enjoy pastels I don't like that it comes off. I like the immediate colors but the lack of permanence bothers me. I enjoy trees but I think I should start doing other subjects. -Maybe. I guess it's a never ending process. I really wish I could find a person to go out and paint with. It seems like everyone finds a buddy to paint with. Oh well. Just keep painting.

Well not the best photo but basically I'm done. I know the stream should be going in another direction but for some reason I like the affect i got here. Anyway onto my next one to learn more.
We had a few sunny days so i went to the fields and looked at some winter trees. No leaves so the color was different than in the summer. i tend to put too much color anyway so this was a good thing for me to practice.
my colored pencil drawing that the sixth street gallery accepted for the food theme show. I couldn't believe all the food that was in all the galleries Friday night. Yum. fun
Well this time of year I'm really fascinated with the warm fall colors. I thought maybe i put too much grass in it but it was fun to do. Pastels on Kitty wallis
I worked on a 9 by 12 pastel on Wallis paper of fall trees near trojan park. the leaves are beautiful this time of year.
I tried to do this 6 by 6 in canvas project to raise money for the Audubon society auction in November. I had fun doing it. I'd like to try another. I 'm anxious to see the whole show. I don't know if it's about quality or just name recognition.
This is my finished piece from Trojan Park. I think I enjoyed the fall colors. I want to make some more I think.
